CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
The organisers reserve the right to offer discounts on the ticket price and to withdraw them as they see fit. The refund of the ticket price in case of cancellation of attendance will be made according to the following table:
– Up to 20 days before the first day of the event, 80% of the amount will be refunded.
– Up to 7 days before the first day of the event, 50% of the amount will be refunded.
– From 7 days before the first day of the event, no payment will be made.
The organisation will not reimburse the entrance fee at any time if the congress cannot take place due to force majeure beyond the control of the event organisers, such as natural disaster, earthquake, flood, terrorist alert, war, major disturbances, curfew, health alarm, epidemic, fire, meteorite fall, social instability, etc., or any other force majeure beyond the control of the event organisers that disrupts the normal course of daily life. No reimbursement will be made for those attendees who are unable to attend due to reasons beyond their control and critical circumstances such as transport strikes, accidents, illness, etc. or any other problem beyond the control of the event organisers that prevents the attendee from attending the congress.
It will be possible to request a change of name on the accreditation up to 5 days before the start of the congress, at no additional cost.
The organisers will ensure at all times that the speakers attend the event and are able to give their presentation, and in the event that a speaker is unable to attend for reasons beyond the control of the event organisers, they will offer an alternative in the programme so that attendees will always have a panel to attend. Under no circumstances will full or partial reimbursement be made if a speaker does not attend and the content included in the programme is not offered, as if sufficient time is available, it will be replaced by other content, trying to ensure that it is as similar as possible or that it is interesting or of high quality. Although the organisers will ensure that the content of the programme is given in its entirety and without suffering any loss, for various reasons the programme of the event may be modified, cancelled or new content added at the last minute, without this entitling the organisers to claim any reimbursement from the event organisers. The event organisers understand that the variety of the programme and speakers offer sufficient options to attendees in the event of the cancellation of any of them, and therefore no total or partial reimbursement of the entrance fee will be made in the event of the cancellation or modification of any of the panels.
The speakers at the event have been selected according to quality criteria and it is understood that they do not offer purely commercial content, even so, it is the speakers themselves who are responsible for the content of their interventions. The event organisers will take into account complaints regarding the content offered by the speakers, but in no case will they reimburse all or part of the entrance fee to the congress if any of the content does not meet the expectations of the attendees. In order to avoid this, the programme includes the theme of each panel and the information of each speaker to be reviewed beforehand.
Some lectures may be recorded and photographed for later use in different media, so that attendees may be recorded and/or photographed. In case you do not wish to appear in recordings or photos, you will have to communicate explicitly. The contents and videos of the congress are the property of Bego Costa África & Wordwide, S.L., and their copyright belongs to Bego Costa África & Wordwide, S.L. to be able to publish them in the form and time it considers appropriate. Attendees may upload photographs of the event to the Internet, but it is not permitted to record videos or audios of the conferences or to publish them on any of the existing video platforms.
I FOCAE will ensure the correct organisation of the entire congress and that the service providers and the congress venue comply with the law and the appropriate security measures, so we are not responsible for any negligence of other companies or suppliers that may cause any damage or accident, whether it be to the building itself, the audiovisual suppliers, catering, etc. I FOCAE is not responsible if an attendee ingests any food or drink to which he/she is allergic, since the catering is the same for everyone, and each attendee must know what he/she can and cannot take, and in case of doubt about the composition of any food, he/she should choose not to take it as a precaution.
Attendees must carry at all times the accreditation that identifies them as event attendees, which will be given to them on their arrival at the venue for the first time upon presentation of their ID card or passport and registration receipt. Any member of the event staff may require the presentation of the ID card or passport and the accreditation within the event venue. If a person does not carry accreditation or refuses to identify themselves, they may be asked to leave the venue without any compensation. All badges are personal and non-transferable. Duplication of accreditation or its transfer to another person not registered for the congress may result in the cancellation of the right to attend the congress without any compensation, and may be reported to the relevant authorities for document forgery or misuse.
The event organisers shall ensure order and security within the congress venue, but shall not be responsible for the personal belongings of the attendees, who shall be solely responsible for them, for their surveillance and control. The event organisers will not be responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings, although they will keep all lost objects and goods for the return to their owners if they are identified or claim their loss.
The organisation will always have the intention and objective of making a quality event, putting all the means to achieve it, but understands that circumstances for which the organisation is not responsible may cause the result not to be the desired one, although the organisation will try to solve any problems or impediments that may arise for the smooth running and flow of the event and will ensure the welfare of all attendees and their satisfaction.
